Polystyrene (PS) is an original amorphous thermoplastic that is rigid and brittle. It is available as GPPS (General Purpose) and HIPS (High Impact). Known for its clarity and low cost. Used in disposable food packaging, toys, and foam products. Processing temperature: 180–240 °C.
